Chapter 2: Logging In Business Network

To login to the Business Network application, use the https://businessnetwork-idp.gep.com URL and enter your login credentials.

  1. Enter your Username and Password.

  2. Click Sign In.

You can register as a Supplier in Business Network using the following methods:

  1. Supplier Self-Registration

  1. Registration using Client Link

  1. Supplier Self-Registration

As a Supplier, you can register yourself without the need for an invitation. Once you complete the self-registration process, you can then enter the Supplier Profile details.

To Self-Register as a Supplier:

  1. Navigate to the Business Network Login page using the URL - http://businessnetwork.gep.com.

  2. Click Register for Self-Registration.

  1. The Business Network registration page opens, and a pop-up appears asking whether the supplier is registering as part of a client.

  2. Select No, and then click Continue to proceed with the Self Registration.

  1. A popup appears. Click Ok to continue with the Supplier Self Registration.

  1. Enter your details such as Username, Work Email, Legal Company Name, First Name, Last Name, and Password.

  2. Agree to the terms and conditions and click Submit. ​

  1. Enter the One Time Password (OTP) received on your Email Address entered during registration.

  1. You are now registered to Business Network. A Welcome popup is displayed that describes the new look of BN and has a link to the BN training video.

  2. Click Continue to proceed.

  1. The landing page is displayed, with no Clients linked to this Supplier the Supplier has self-registered. This Supplier does not have any clients linked as the Supplier is self-registered.

  1. Supplier Registration

To register as a Supplier, you will receive an email from your client. The invitation email is sent to your registered email ID.

To Register:

  1. Click the Click Here link in the email to navigate to the Registration page.

  1. The registration on the Business Network page allows you to register and access the GEP Business Network. You will complete the registration form, accept the Terms and Conditions, and click Submit.

  2. The Username, Work Email, Legal Company Name, First Name, and Last Name are automatically added.

  3. Confirm the Password for the Business Network and then click Submit.

2.2.1 Supplier User Types

There are 3 types of User Registration in the Business Network domain:

  • No User – This is for users registering for the first time in Business Network. When this user receives a registration email, they will be directed to the Registration page. On this page, the Email is used as the Username and is non-editable.

  • Single User – This is for users having a single username in Business Network. For this, the user is directed to the Registration page and this single username is used and is non-editable.

  • Multiple Users - This is for users having multiple usernames in Business Network. For this, the user is directed to the Registration page. Here, the application prompts the user stating that there are multiple usernames associated. Enter one username linked to your work email id and username fields.

  1. Login Scenarios

2.3.1 Forgot Username

If you have forgotten your username:

  1. Click Forgot Username as shown in the above home screen. The following screen appears, enter your registered email ID, and click Submit button.

  1. Enter your registered Email ID and click Submit.

  1. A new Username is sent to your registered email address.

Note

If multiple usernames exist, the Supplier can retrieve all the usernames associated with the work Email ID. When you click the Forgot Username link on the Business Network Login page, you will receive all the associated usernames in your registered email address.

 

2.3.2 Forgot Password

If you have forgotten your Password:

  1. Click Forgot Password on the GEP Business Network login screen. A screenshot of a login page

  2. Under the Forgot Password tab, enter your registered Username and click Submit. A link to reset your password is sent to your registered email address.

 

2.4 Home Screen

On successful login to your account, the Business Network Home Screen is displayed. This page displays the Client List, Relationship Summary, Task List and Links and Documents.

In the Relationship Summary section, you can customize the document names to align as per client requirements.

Click Home on the top left to access the Profile Homepage. The Profile Homepage displays the Client List for the logged in Supplier, Task List, Registration, Existing Task List and a BN Instructional Video.
