Chapter 5: Send for Signature
There are 2 methods to e-sign a contract document.

E-signature – This allows you to sign the contract document using DocuSign.

Manual Signature – Manual Signature is an offline method of signature. When a contract document is sent for a manual signature, you will receive the document in an email. You can then download the document and manually sign the document. The signed document can then be uploaded back.
5.1 E-signature

On an applicable contract, click Send for eSign.

The Send for e-signature page is displayed.

Select the required document in the Select Document for Signature section.

Enter the recipients in the Recipients section. Select User or Group as Recipient Type. Based on the recipient type, the names are populated from DocuSign in the document. In case of groups, you can also view the group members by clicking Members Link under the Group Members column.

Click Send for Signature. The document status changes to Signature Pending status, and email is sent to the Recipients.

Once the email is received click Review Document on the email to navigate to the DocuSign page.

Sign the document.

Click the Signature tab.

Drag the Signature icon to the desired area on the document.

In the Adopt and Sign pop-up, enter your Signature. You can either write, draw or upload your signature.

Once the signature is added, click Adopt and Sign.

Click Finish to send the signed document via email.

On the Contract document, click View eSign status. The list of signed documents are visible. Once all the documents are signed, the contract document status changes to Signed.

You can view the Signed document under the Contract Language section.
5.2 Manual Signature

On an applicable document, click Send for Manual Signature.

Select the required document in the Select Document for Signature section.

Enter the Recipients in the Recipients section.

Click Send for Signature. The status of the contract changes to Manual Signature Pending status indicating the document is sent for Manual Signature.

You will receive an email notification with the attachment to sign the document.

Once the documents are signed, click Upload Signed Documents to upload the signed documents.

Browse the signed document, select the Mark Signature process as completed checkbox and click Done.
The signed documents will be uploaded, and the contract status changes to Signed.
